2024: Celebrating a Year of Impact Together

In 2024, TreeTop addressed 53 cases of child abuse and neglect, bringing safety, support, and hope to families across the region.

Breakdown of Cases:

• By Gender: 21 Male, 32 Female
• By Age:
  • Ages 0–6: 9 cases
  • Ages 7–12: 16 cases
  • Ages 13–18: 28 cases

Types of Abuse Reported:

• Sexual: 29 cases
• Physical: 16 cases
• Witness to Crime: 4 cases
• Neglect: 5 cases

These numbers represent more than statistics—they represent lives forever changed by the compassion and dedication of our supporters.

In 2024, TreeTop served families across multiple counties:

• Summit: 19 cases
• Lake: 18 cases
• Eagle: 5 cases
• Other counties: Grand (1), Chaffee (2), Jefferson (1), El Paso (2), Fairplay (3), and Homeland Security (2).

This wide-reaching impact was only possible thanks to our growing team and the continued support of our community.

Every case we handle reflects complex dynamics within families and communities:

• Offenders:
  • Family Members: 37
  • Friends/Teachers/Acquaintances: 9
  • Other/Unknown: 7

We also supported 87 secondary victims—family members and others affected by the trauma of abuse—through interviews, services, and resources.

In 2024, TreeTop invested in growth to meet the needs of our community:

• Bilingual Forensic Interviewer: Expanding accessibility for families where Spanish is the primary language.
• Marketing and Development Director: Ensuring our message reaches more people and our programs have the resources to thrive.
• Board Growth: New leadership and expertise to guide our mission forward.

These steps have positioned us to make an even bigger impact in 2025.
