Join us for a special morning of stories, songs, and crafts! Storytime with TreeTop is designed to raise awareness about body boundaries and help prepare our community for Child Abuse Prevention Month in April.

- Interactive stories, including “No Trespassing – This Is MY Body” and “Los LĂmites Corporales Me Hacen Más Fuerte”
- Fun songs and music to engage little ones
- A creative craft activity: Color TreeTop Post Cards
- A warm, welcoming environment for parents and preschool-aged children, with resources in both English and Spanish

National Child Abuse Prevention Month recognizes the importance of families and communities working together to prevent child abuse and neglect. Prevention services and supports developed by this collaboration can help parents, other caregivers, and communities protect children and strengthen families.
Pinwheels in the ChambersThe Colorado State Capitol - Tuesday, April 1
Help us kick off the Pinwheels for Prevention Campaign for Child Abuse Prevention Month by joining us for an inspiring morning.
We’ll begin the day at the First Baptist Church of Denver (1373 Grant Street, Denver, CO 80203) with a light breakfast and the presentation of the 2025 Illuminating Leadership Awards to recognize leaders in the family strengthening field. Immediately following the award presentation, help us fill the galleries of the state legislative chambers as Child Abuse Prevention Month tributes are being read. Be sure to wear blue and join us in Miller Hall at the First Baptist Church of Denver–Illuminate will bring the pinwheels!

You can show support for promoting positive childhood experiences and preventing adversity by wearing blue on April 4th for #WearBlueDay to kick off CAP Month with momentum.
